Refund, Returns and Terms

Please make yourself aware of our refunds, returns and terms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: KERAMIEK STUDIO

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website and placing an order, you automatically agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website. During the checkout process, you are required to tick a box confirming that you have read and accepted these terms before your payment can be processed.

2. Handcrafted Disclaimer (Artisanal Nature)

All products at Keramiek Studio are individually handcrafted.

  • Variations: You acknowledge and accept that minor imperfections, slight color variations, or organic shape differences are not considered defects or incorrect items. * Uniqueness: These characteristics are a hallmark of the handmade process. No two items are identical, and the final product may vary slightly from the images displayed on the website due to the unpredictable nature of ceramic glazes and kiln firing.

3. Services and Bookings (Classes)

  • Payment: Bookings forany pottery service (classes, workshops, comissions etc.) are only confirmed once full payment has been received via the website.

  • Natural Risks: Pottery is a manual craft involving high-temperature firing. Keramiek Studio is not held liable for items that crack, break, or "explode" during the drying or firing process (Steps 2 and 4 of our Master Piece Journey), as this is a natural risk of the medium.

  • Collection: Fired pieces must be collected within 30 days of notification. Items left longer than 30 days may be recycled or sold to cover storage costs.

4. Returns and Refund Policy (Strict Policy)

Due to the fragile and personalized nature of our products, the following applies:

  • No Change-of-Mind Returns: No returns or exchanges will be accepted if you simply change your mind or dislike the specific variation of a handmade item.

  • Damage During Delivery: Returns are only accepted if there is reasonable evidence of damage incurred during transit.

    • You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the item (from the Pudo locker or courier delivery).

    • Evidence must include clear photos of the damaged item and the external packaging.

  • Class Cancellations: * Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the class: 100% refund or reschedule.

    • Cancellations within 48–72 hours of the class: 50% cancellation fee.

    • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or "No-shows": No refund will be issued.

5. Shipping and Risk

  • We utilize third-party couriers (e.g., Pudo Locker-to-Locker).

  • Once an item is deposited into a locker and a tracking number is provided, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer.

  • Lead Times: Please note that custom pieces or commissions require 7–14 days or even more due to clay and firings being unpredictable for production before they are ready for shipping.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the Keramiek Studio logo, designs, and photographs, is the property of Keramiek Studio and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without express written consent.
